VIDEO: INTRODUCTION TO THE SMALL CLAIMS TRIBUNALS
This video provides an overview of the procedures involved when lodging a claim at the Small Claims Tribunals (SCT).

SMALL CLAIMS TRIBUNALS (“SCT”) NOTICE- SUBTLE SENSES PTE LTD
SCT Users who intend to file claims in the SCT against Subtle Senses Pte Ltd (“the company”) should note that the company is in liquidation.

As the company is in liquidation, leave of the High Court is required to commence or proceed with any legal action against the company. In the premises, the Small Claims Tribunals is unable to accept the filing of any claims against the company without the leave of the High Court.

The provisional liquidators are Mr Abuthahir Abdul Gafoor and Mr Chee Yoh Chuang of Stone Forest Corporate Advisory (http://www.rsmchiolim.com.sg). Users with claims against the company may wish to liaise directly with the liquidators.

Do seek independent legal advice if you are uncertain as to your legal position.

Please note that with effect from 15 February 2006, any party who wishes to lodge an appeal against the Referee' decision will have to first file an application to obtain the leave of the District Court. The application for leave, must be filed within 14 days from the date of the Referee's Order.
 


Please note that with effect from 15 February 2006, the SCT's jurisdiction has been increased to include claims arising from any contract for a lease of residential premiseswhich do not exceed 2 years.
